📸 Advanced Photo Mode for iOS

Do you use an iPad or iPhone? Then we have a major update for you: the Advanced Photo Mode. This feature allows you to use your device’s native camera app during your rental inspections. Adjusting exposure, focusing, using the wide-angle lens, or turning on the flash (depending on your device)—it’s all possible now. This helps you capture even clearer and more detailed photos of property elements or rental damage.

Advanced or Familiar: It’s Your Choice! You decide how you want to work. The familiar photo mode, which lets you quickly snap multiple photos in a row, is still enabled by default. Prefer more control? You can easily toggle the Advanced Photo Mode on or off via the app’s Settings.

What about Android?

It’s even easier for Android users: the Rental Inspector app already automatically uses your native camera app for photos, so you can always enjoy these benefits!

Plus Extra Improvements

Alongside the new photo mode for iOS, version 4.0 includes several other handy upgrades:

• Upload your signature: In the Settings, you can now upload an image of your signature, rather than just drawing it on the screen. Once set up, your signature is automatically added to every inspection report.

• Settlement of rental damage costs: This document now also displays the corrected total (if filled in).

• Volume button shutter (iOS): If you choose not to use the Advanced Photo Mode in iOS, you can now opt to use your iPad’s volume buttons to take photos quickly and easily.
