The Building Inspector App is built for anyone responsible for one or more buildings. From professional property managers overseeing multiple sites to facility managers within companies and organisations — this tool delivers the power and flexibility you need to manage every building efficiently.

Although it’s a professional-grade solution, we’ve designed it so that every team member can use it easily and confidently.

Which device do I need?

Available for smartphone and tablet

The Building Inspector app runs smoothly on both smartphones and tablets, and is available for iOS and Android.

Use the same login across multiple devices: perform quick inspections or record issues on the go with your smartphone, and use your tablet for more detailed on-site checks. Work flexibly — wherever you are.

The Building Manager runs entirely online: all you need is a modern browser like Chrome or Safari to access it anytime, anywhere.

What types of reports can I generate?

Choose the report that fits your needs

You don’t always need a full report — and we understand that. That’s why, after every inspection, you decide which type of report to generate, tailored to your purpose or audience.

For each inspection, you can choose from three report types:

  • Full report: provides a complete overview of all evaluations and findings — both positive and negative.
  • Compact report: shows only the negative assessments, such as damages, defects, or other issues.
  • Issue report: focuses exclusively on the identified problems during the inspection, enabling fast follow-up.
Is the trial version always free?

Try it free — no strings attached

Absolutely! You can try the Building Inspector (app + Building Manager) completely free for 14 days, with no obligations. No credit card or payment details are required.

After the trial period, simply choose the plan that best fits your needs in the Building Manager and activate your subscription right away.

Prefer not to continue after the trial? No problem — your account will be automatically deleted after 30 days, and you won’t be charged anything.

What is the minimum subscription period?

Monthly subscription for the Pro version

The Building Inspector Pro works on a monthly subscription basis. You pay a fee per active user and a fee per building used within the Building Inspector.
You can link your preferred electronic payment method through our payment provider, Stripe. The user fee will then be automatically debited each month.

You’ll receive an invoice for each renewal by email within three working days.

You can cancel your Pro subscription at any time before the monthly renewal date. Please note that no refunds are available for the current month.

 

Annual subscription for the Premium version

The Building Inspector Premium requires a minimum subscription period of 12 months, which is automatically renewed for the same duration unless cancelled at least three months before the renewal date.

Depending on your agreement, you’ll receive your invoices monthly, quarterly, or annually by email.

Can I combine the Building Inspector with the Rental Inspector?

Absolutely, this can be done easily

If your organisation already uses the Rental Inspector, you can effortlessly add the Building Inspector to your workflow.

Your existing users can access both apps without any additional cost — they won’t be charged twice. Simple, efficient, and budget-friendly.

Can I customise my checklists?

Your Building Inspector comes with ready-to-use checklists, for example for fire safety or maintenance inspections. You can easily adapt these lists to match your workflow and specific needs.

Prefer to create your own from scratch? Go for it. You can design unique, personalised checklists for each building, perfectly suited to its specific situation.

What if I don’t have Wi-Fi or 5G on site?

Work fully offline

You can carry out inspections even without Wi-Fi or mobile internet. As soon as your device reconnects, all data is automatically synchronised with the Building Manager.

Is integration with other software possible?

With the Premium version, you get access to our dedicated REST API, allowing external software to automatically retrieve the data collected through the Building Inspector.

How is my data protected?

State-of-the-art hosting and security

We use modern EU-based hosting with continuous backups and redundant systems to keep your data safe — your information never leaves the European Union.

The service is fully GDPR-compliant and supports two-step verification for enhanced access security.

What happens to my data if I cancel my subscription?

Access for up to 30 days

Even after ending your subscription, you’ll retain access to your stored reports and photos in the Building Manager for 30 days. During this period, you can export all your data.

After 30 days, all your data will be permanently deleted in accordance with our software licence data policy.

Is onboarding help and training available?

Online tutorials in the Support Center

Absolutely. We provide online tutorials and a full knowledge base in our Support Center. If you prefer more personalised guidance, we also offer individual online training sessions (available upon request and subject to a fee).
